Please try not to put "A dead person" for an answer. I want you to read carefully and really think.(I would appreciate it)

" Death has fallen upon us

As he lay....breathless

We are just here

With no care in the world

Laying under the sun

Like nothing has ever happened."

Just write who you think I'm talking about (not as in names).

This is just basically taking a guess, it won't hurt if you got it wrong.

I can give you a hint: The person I'm talking about isn't really dead in the poem.

  1. I guess I don't really understand what you want from us. I'll say you wrote about your lover?

  2. Perhaps two lovers during a war trying their best to cope?

  3. your boyfriend!!or i guy u like

  4. IT'S TALKING ABOUT US, humans, how we don't care about what happens around us. We just care about ourselves and how we've become selfish and have become like robot, not enjoying of nature and caring for people, instead worrying about our money and material things.

  5. I'm told sexual o****m is the nearest thing to death.  Have you just made love?

  6. Some one with really bad luck?

  7. I would say boyfriend except for thefact that the first line  sets a  mood that makes me think of something else completely.  My guess is people.

  8. magical unicorn

  9. someone getting a tan, being so relaxed , and with nothing on his mind

  10. It sounds as though you are referring to the widow of someone who has died or the child of someone who has died.

  11. I'm not so sure if it's actually a person, honestly.

  12. Perhaps it is a season of one's life.  Not sure!

  13. Hm.. My best guess would be a boyfriend? "We are just here with no care in the world" sounds sort of cliché with things that have to do with relationships, ya know? Not cliché in a bad way or anything, but something that would give off that relationship vibe. When I read "Laying under the sun" I pictured a couple on a cliff, a tree beside them, sunny day, laying just outside the shade of the tree under the sun, happy together.

    Well, that's my opinion, lol.

  14. Your speaking of your lover(possibly after making love)

  15. Basically we're the dead ones.......the guy's still alive...sounds like he's a good guy and we've taken him for granted.....hmmmm.....u got me

  16. On an educated guess, I would assume the environment, or perhaps an allusion to global warming. "Death has fallen upon us," seems to mirror the deteriorating atmosphere and "breathless" refers to (in my inference) to a world where oxygen is lacking (following up with deforestation, ozone layer loss). "We are just here, with no care in the world" would allude to the oblivious human public and "laying under the sun like nothing has ever happened" might furhter emphasize the apathy of human nature to observe subtle changes on the environment.

Ergo, my answer would be: The Environment. On similar level guesses, Deforestation, Ozone layer deterioration, and Global warming. All of which are inherently connected to the root of the Environment.

I could be of course, completely off target and overanalyzing it, but the pieces make sense.
