  1. St Helens by a country mile.

  2. Despite being a Bulls supporter, I have to support Hull (It's a cross-the-Pennines thing!).  They played brilliant against Saints in the first playoff, and were defininitely the better side against the Bulls.  I would love Hull to win, but my heart says Saints are having the year of all years & will take it by 1 or 2 points.  lst try scorer - Paul Wellens (this year's Man of Steel AND the Players' Player of the Year, well deserved & congratulations Paul). M o m Sean Long.

  3. St Helens.     26 - 6      Francis Meli 1st try scorer

Leon Pryce,   MOM Harry sunderland trophy winner.

  4. My heart says Hull by 10 points, but my head says Saints by 8 points.

    Should be a cracker.

  5. St Helen's by a clear 15

  6. St Helens 22-14 Hull

    Go Saints

  7. hull 16 stains 10,i hope[wigan till i die].....

  8. saints 24 v hull 19..it's that close..m.o.m paul cook..great game by two very matched sides..attendance  69,435

    half - time 16 -8..interchanges saints 11 to hull 12

    ref had a good game too..no error's

  9. On paper you would have to say St Helens will win but like any grand final 2 teams have made it and played exceptionally well to get there so in my opinion it's any ones game.

If I had to predict, I would say St Helens 26 - 22 Hull. What a game, can't wait!

First tryscorer and man of the match Meli.

  10. St Helens 44 Hull 6

  11. I know everyone is backing Saints, and with good reason considering the season past.  However, if Hull play like they did against Saints in their own back garden (both occassions this season, the season win and play-off defeat) in front of the massive crowd in a neutral stadium, I do think there could be a massive upset there for the taking.  It will be very tight and the first try will be vital.  I do think that Gareth Raynor or Kirk Yeaman may well get that first try and Hull go on to win, by a very close margin.  It will require a Cooke drop goal at some point and I'm gonna go for Hull 19-18 Saints.  No doubt it will be a great game and event nonetheless.
