  1. Afghanis, the Iraqis aren't don't so much fight as snipe and set up IEDs

  2. Afghans. Untill McCain becomes president and going to win the war over there. McCain help us to win the war in Iraq. That's y u don't see any1 complaining about it.

  3. Afghans by far.  They kicked out the British Empire, the Soviet Empire and they might do it to the American empire.

  4. Afghans have been fighting for decades, they are probably the tougher ones.

  5. I'd have to go with the Afghanis on this one. Even though they needed our equipment, they were able to kick Ivan's butt back into Russia where it belonged We would be well advised not to unerestimate them.

  6. we dont have an empire you moron... I would say they are both a difficult enemy to fight because they all look the same

  7. It depends on the environment and each side is familiar with its topography. Also the wars are different in both countries. I think a best person to answer this question is a soldier who served in both countries.

  8. I talked to American soldiers who worked with the Iraqi and Afghani troops.  This was two years ago, so the situation has changed.

The American soldier who trained the Iraqi security forces said that the Iraqi troops would not get out of the vehicles when ambushed and they would dunk down while firing the weapons blindly out the windows.  He believed that the Iraqis were still products of the old Iraqi military and needed to develop more confidence in themselves through better training.

The soldier training Afghani troops said that they were fearless; he recounted a story where a Taliban position was sighted and the entire Afghan unit attacked the position.  The American soldier respected their courage, but felt that the Afghans needed to work more on tactics and learn to leave a reserve force behind to deal with situations that might occur.

As I said, it was two years ago when I talked to those soldiers.  Since then, it appears that the training of the Iraqi security forces has been effective.

  9. In most cases we are not fighting against Iraqis or Afghans themselves. It is terrorist organizations like Al-Qaeda and the Taliban that we are fighting and they happen to be in Iraq and Afghanistan. We've pretty much taken care of Iraq, and we can do it in Afghanistan too. It is probably one of the most backwards and least developed countries in the world.
