The story of Julia Morgan is pretty interresting. She was a female architect who's designs were well known across the US (Primarily California) and highly desired.One of her more famous buildings is the Hearst Castle. Funny thing though eveybody thought the designs were by her male partner which was sort of necessary at that time.
