The statue David by Michelangelo.  It's held in a museum in Florence.  I was there and saw it this last August.  The statue is not proportional.  Michelangelo did that on purpose because the statue is very tall and if you look from the bottom upward the body/sculpture looks in proportion....if he hadn't made it un-proportional it would look weird.
