Watch some old episodes of Hee Haw.  My god, my parents used to watch that ________in show every week when I was a teenager.  It's no wonder I rebelled against country music.  Roy Clark, Buck Owens, Mini Pearl, to name a few.

For the Ozarks you may want a little bluegrass- Carter Family, Ricky Skaggs, Allison Krauss,  Jimmy Martin, Flatt and Scruggs and Bill Monroe.
