Who are some grass court specialists we can expect to see make their mark at Wimbledon?

Seeding does not matter all that much as it is just after clay, where clay court specialists have been able to improve their ranking. So after seeing the likes of Ancic, Robredo, Gonzy, Stephanek during clay court season... who can we expect to hear more of this Wimbledon?

Also what are Monfils and Gulbis like on grass compared to clay?

  1. Ancic, Karlovic, and Mirnyi all come to mind. Big serves, great volleys, could do some damage. Mardy Fish can play the serve and volley game too, as can Feliciano Lopez (quite surprising for a Spaniard). Tsonga could make a move too... if he's not injured. Gulbis is a question mark on grass. Monfils: better on the dirt.

And thanks to you too, Kait :)

  2. The person that will make their best mark this year is Novak Djokovic. He has been doing pretty well latley and Federer is no longer the best any more. Federer is no longer equipt mentally to win big matches. Just look how he did in the french open final! Djokovic will will win Wimbledon. Andy Roddick will also do very well, if he is over his injury that caused him to drop out of the French open.

  3. Definently Nadal, Gulbis, and Stephanek. Nadal's serve and volleying have improved. Gulbis has a good shot because he can be aggressive from all areas of the court, but he could be another streaky guy like Tsonga or Nalbandian. Stephanek has great volleys and a serve, so he can attack well. All of these people have improved.

Monfils is not at all as good on grass than he is on clay. Gulbis, I can't say, but I think he'd be better on grass. We'll see!

  4. Kait!!! Id like to play/jackhammer rafa ahahaha!
