  1. He's not so much of a leader but he was huge on the subject of ETHICS. He is my favorite greek philosopher. Socrates. Even Socrates' student Plato, or Plato's student Aristotle. They are all great, and interesting to study. Socrates is still my personal favorite though.

This may not be what you are looking for. I think you may have meant someone like Harriet Tubman, who did amazing things for mankind and who was the leader of the underground railroad.

    Good luck!

  2. ALEXANDER THE GREAT.

    ASHOKA THE GREAT.

    SWAMI VIVEKANADA.

    MORTIN LUTHER.

    SUBASH CHANDRA BOSE.

  3. WOW!!

    JFK

    Martin Luther King, Jr.

    Ghandi

    Abraham Lincoln

    SOO many others!

  4. sometimes war is a great thing that benefits mankind in ways quite notably.

  5. Alfred the Great was only 21 when he became King of England.  He is the reason that England exists as a nation.  He came up with the idea of fortified towns to protect the populace from Viking depredations, founded a navy to go out and fight the invaders at sea and believed in the value of literacy.  He personally translated parts of the Bible and the writings of St Augustine into English.

Jeanne d'Arc (aka Joan of Arc) was 17 when she led an army that raised the siege of Orleans.  she was only 19 when she was burned at the stake but as a result of her efforts the French gained a national identity, something they really did not have before.

St Elizabeth of Hungary was still a teenager when she began her work to alleviate the suffering of the poor in her adopted country.
