  1. If all who say they'd vote third party or independent if only it were 'viable' did so, it would BE viable.

Ron Paul 2008 or as close as I can vote and have it counted.

  2. Ron Paul.  He's not officially a candidate any more,  but I'll probably write him in.

  3. Chuck Baldwin, Bob Barr, Ralph Nader....there's plenty more.

too bad Ron Paul didn't decide to run :(

Question: Do you want to sell your soul and vote for someone simply because you think they can win OR stop buying into the either/or c**p pushed by the media.

  4. Below is a link to a website that lists the other candidates like Nader, Barr, McKinney, Keyes, etc.  Click on their picture and it will take you to a list of issues and define where they stand.

I don't see Ron Paul on that list...he is a Republican that is still running.  Good luck!

  5. The key word in your question is "viable."

    The answer is "none."

  6. There are no other "viable" candidates.  Bob Barr, Ralph Nader, and a few others are also running, but none will win.  You can also write-in a name.

  7. Unfortunately, the US is really a two-party system.  There are, of course, other parties (the Libertarian party, the Green party, etc.).  They just don't stand a chance at winning enough votes to secure the office.  Eventually, we may get to the point where we have more options.  In my opinion, though, right now a vote for someone not in the Democratic or Republican party is a form of protest rather than a vote to actually elect an official.

  8. Me.

  9. Sadly none. The two parties have a strangle-hold on all elections, forcing all voters to choose between two turds. You could vote for a third party, but that would basically be throwing a vote away.... not like the popular vote actually matters that much in a pseudo-democratic nation though. But that's another story. The best option is to vote for whomever you believe to be the lesser of two evils.
