  1. jack wilson

    nate mcclouth

    nyjer morgan

    freddy sanchez

    and all the other pirates.....

  2. Geovany Soto, the fact that he is a rookie and has had a great season so far should put him on the list.

  3. ryan ludwick and albert pujols

  4. nl mvp:ryan braun of the milwaukee brewers

  5. If anyone says Braun, hes a brewers fan.  No way in h**l is braun the most valuable player in the national league, sabathia is more influential on their team.  Besides, even Ryan Ludwick, who has fewer at bats, WAY fewer at bats with runners in scoring position, yet he still has a higher batting average and more RBI's.  Brewers fans are just wanting someone on their team to win it, doesnt matter who.

Jose Reyes is having a fantastic year, but his most impressive stats are probably his 14 triples and his 40 steals, neither of which are likely to impress the voters a great deal.

But if you want to talk "valuable" Once again, Pujols is the best hitter in the National League. Period. Sure, Lance Berkman's enjoying a lovely season and Chipper Jones flirted with .400 for a few months. But Pujols has the best slugging, OBP, and OPS (1.096) in the league and nobody's close to him. He also plays an outstanding first base and is one of the better baserunners in the league.

You could make a case for david wright, but his team may not make the playoffs and he doesnt even have a 300 batting average.

You could also make a case for Chase Utley.  But can he really be the most valuable player in the whole league when he doesnt lead rbi's or homers even on his own team?

Basically, its hard not to give it to pujols

  6. what i would think is that if it was solely based upon stats, then either lance berkman or albert pujols would win it. BUT RYAN BRAUN, oh come on, that makes no sense, they were not winning even when he was in the lineup before sabathia came.

i would say jose reyes, and that seems way more suitable simply because if the mets lost jose for a year, they will not make the playoffs, and be in last place, just look at his average in wins and losses, when jose goes, so go the mets

wright i would say shouldnt simply cuz look, how many times have you seen him get the cheap rbi

i mean, the sac fly, ground out, bloop, or when JOSE GETS IN SCORING POSITION WITH A HIT AND SB

and in the clutch, he is hitting .232

and my favorite and hopeful is my guy, CARLOS DELGADO

in my opinion, comeback player of the year,

the guy is sixth in the nl in hr, 6 behind ryan howard, how many suspected that

  7. haha no way

no mets are even being discussed

if anything if the mets make the playoffs

the only candidate would be david wright

it looks like the NL favorite is Ryan Braun

AL should be carlos quinten in my opinion

    GO BREWERS

  8. Geovany Soto!

Probably not but wouldn't it be great

  9. Berkman

    Wright

    Ludwick

    Delgado

    Pujols

    Lincecum

    Braun

    C.Jones

    A.Ramirez
