Konstantin Kolzov is the fastest player I've ever seen, once he chased a loose puck coming out of his own zone past the defenseman who had at least 10 feet on him deked the goalie and scored. I was watching the scoreboard and from the blue line to the goal the time was about 7 seconds.

Opinion?  Keep in mind, sometimes you have to measure players up against the talent they played against, because technology, competition, etc. was in line with where they were at.  I'd go with:

Good point about technology Labatt .. i remember splurging on a pair of Bauer 3000's with the gel padding because that was a major development back in 1992 .. these days you could barely give those skates away.
