Who are the Anunakis of the Planet X ?

The Sumerian scripts say that the Anunakis were there gods who descended from the planet called Nibiru/Marduk (Planet X)? Who are the Anunakis? Do they have anything to do with the Planet X?

Marduk / Nibiru /Nippur was a god of the old Mesopotamian pantheon. This god became associated with the planet we now call Jupiter when the Babylonians invented astrology.

Ancient writings say a lot of things.  That's why interpreting them is both problematic and the realm of people highly trainined and experienced to do that.  Zechariah Sitchin is not one of those people.

Yes, the Anunnaki were Sumerian demigods.  No they aren't coming on Nibiru to wipe out Earth.
