Who are the Children and Grandchildren of Chief Red Bird Aaron brock? (Charlotte Brock&Terry Meltons kids too)

I NEED to find out if Charlotte Brock IS Chief Red Bird (Aaron Brock) daughter or granddaughter and if she married Terry melton and their child was Mary Polly Melton. I need solid facts on this. I have looked and looked and can find nothing to support this evidence I have in my family tree. Thanks for your help!

One of Chief Red Bird's sons was named Jesse James Brock born December 8, 1751 in Cumberland Co. Virginia, died June 13, 1843 in Harlan County, Kentucky.  On June 8, 1771 in Cumberland County, Virginia, Jesse married Rebecca Howard, born March 15, 1756 in Cumberland County, Virginia.  Jesse and Rebecca had a daughter named Charlotte Brock, born 1794 in Cumberland County, Virginia, and died July 1844 in Harlan Co. Ky.  Charlotte married first to John Coldiron and had a couple kids.  She married second to Terry H. Melton, born October 6, 1796 in Tennessee.

Beyond that, what I see from viewing various family trees on line is that Charlotte had a sister, not a daughter, named Mary; and that she had a grand-daughter, not a daughter named Mary.   It could be she had a sister and a grand-daughter named Mary.  If the link you are looking for is the grand-daughter, then it is through Charlotte's son James Preston Melton.

So the tree would be as follows:

Chief Red Bird had a son named Jesse James Brock

Jesse married Rebecca Howard and they had Charlotte and a daughter named Mary.

Charlotte married Terry Melton and they had James

James married Mary Fee and they had a daughter named Mary.

All this is info I gathered from various family trees on rootsweb.com.  As far as solid documentation, I have none.
