the best female boxers are considered to be Vonda Ward and Gwen O'Neill.  Also Holly Holm is considered to be the best middleweight in women's boxing.

I think most of the women with titles are promoted by Don King.

The most notable female boxer of all time was Christy Martin.  Christy Martin has 47 wins, the most (i think) of any female fighter.  She is coming out of retirement to fight a woman by the name of Mahfood.  I think she wants to get 50 wins before hanging up her gloves for good.
