Who are the best keepers in fantasy football?

Is this the 1st year of league.  If so, get S.Jackson, AP, Brady, Lynch, S.Smith etc.

If this is an established keeper: get Forte, Stewart, Marshall, Gonzalez(Ind.), S. Smith, etc.

Well, there are a couple of fundamentals to keep an eye on when drafting.

1. Consider youth.  Don't take a 30 year old running back if Joseph Addai or Adrian Peterson are available.

2. Take players from productive offenses.  Randy Moss or Braylon Edwards are better options than Lee Evans and Jerricho Cotchery.

3. Try to consider whether they are due for free agency.  A player like Chad Johnson could be headed to another team, and that can be good or very bad.

4. Understand your keeper rules up front.  Some leagues "charge" a draft pick for keepers.  This can sometimes reward a smart player who keeps a lower drafted player who is on the rise.
