I have been a waitress or bartender for a very long time and in my experience the best tippers are those who have worked in the business. The worst tippers are those who have no patience or understanding for what these positions  are really all about.

speaking as an x server, elderly, they dont have much money and they arent able to tip at all most of the time. but thats ok, most of them are so stinkin cute i never minded!!

Anyone who has ever worked minimum wage (especially in food service), regardless of current employment or financial status, tips the best by far, because they know how difficult and unappreciated it is. Some of them have literally had to pay the rent with just tips.

The worst tippers are those who have held white-collar jobs their whole lives and have never had to do any manual labor.
