God made a deal with Abraham in Genesis, a 'covenant'.  If Abraham and his family and descendants would serve God, then God would protect them and make them prosper and succeed and multiply.

(Some) modern Jews think that God loves them especially, above others, just because they are Jewish.  But it's not like that, it was a deal with responsibilities on both sides.  Jews also think it has to do with keeping the Mosaic Law, the law handed down by Moses during the Exodus.  But the covenant between God and Abraham precedes this law by many centuries.

Early Christians believed that the Jews had abandoned their covenant and lost it, and that they were now the keepers of the 'new covenant'.  And it wouldn't surprise me to learn that Muslims think the same thing.

The Israelites are the chosen people of G_d, all those who bless the chosen people shall be blessed themselves.

Numbers 6.22-27

17 Then the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? 18 Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him. 19 For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”

Jews are 'chosen' ONLY to keep more laws - that is it, that is all. It doesn't mean anything more exciting than that. Judaism teaches that we are ALL equally the children of G-d.

Whatever the Christian bible may say, it doesn't determine whether Christians are 'grafted in to judaism'. JUDAISM ALONE gets to decide that. The arrogance of *some* Christians. Astonishing.
