This is an issue that has always been a BIG question mark for me. Do they cough up money, ? or just take up the best seats in the house on match day. Famous people throughout time have always got hand outs or kick backs.

If Carltons president can cough up big bucks, why can't some of the other rich and famous put up.

After all, these famous ego trippers would possibly have a caterered lunch prior to the match, which wouldn't be a pie and sauce and a bucket of fries, washed down with coke; like the peasant supporters who brave the weather elements each week in financial support of their favorite team. Maybe some of the ticket holders themselves may like to state what they do in a financial manner for their specific club. LOL.

  1. You  make an excellent point jemima, I too had wondered and questioned those so called #1 ticket holders. Take Adelaide Crows #1 ticket holder Lleyton Hewitt, no dis-respect to the guy, but I don't think he even pays to watch the game live. He certainately gets a brlliant view, gets a catered lunch service and heck, he probally would get to drink a bottle of expensive Red Wine. And here I am, sitting on the outer.....rain, hail and shine.

I'm with you, I like to see these # 1 ticket holders do more for the club  and contribute a h**l of alot more.

  2. Who really cares?

Not many, by the response to your question!

Why don't you admit to being jealous - you'd probably kill to exchange places with these ticket holders.

  3. John So the Melbourne Lord Mayor, is the number 1. ticket holder at Melbourne  football club.

    HMMMMMM

  4. Check this web page out, it lists all the celebrity supporters of each club including their #1.

Ha ha Big Kev you've got Condalesa Rice as one of yours.

W.C have Mr Brokeback Mountain as their #1,

Sydney? we have all the hot chicks like Delta and Megan Gale

  5. Yeah its the celebrity status thats gets u the No. 1 Ticket holder.

I always thought it should go to the supporter who has payed the most $$ to be a member of the club they follow.

As in the membership that costs the most amount of $$ and the number of those memberships that person has paid for.

Who knows how it works .... not me, but u make a good point and a great question raised.
