Even thought I don't drive, in our areas, New York and New Jersey drivers are reckless.

For example, one car driver made illegal U-turn via BUS LANE on Fordham Rd in front of moving Bx12 Bus Rapid Transit, and another one, female driver on car made illegal right turn from Farmers Blvd NB to Atlantic Av when Q6 bus was in motion, and another one, car popping out suddenly in front of turning bus, or bus arriving bus stop.

This events happened about 502 times in row while ridding buses in NY, NJ and Stamford, CT.

Both stupid men and women.

Women have the more negligent type of accidents like rear ending, wrong turns, and so on. But guys; I think we have the more reckless accidents such as racing, stunts, DUIs, trying to hit that fool's car for flipping me off, etc. So as far as more dangerous drivers, it’s guys.

The most dangerous drivers are those that can not keep their mind on driving,  or those that compensate for driving skills by driving too slow.

While they may not be in an accident, they cause more then they realize.

Driving even a private form of transportation demands full time attention.

Insurance company stat shows that per million miles driven, men and women get into about 5 accidents.  So looking at those numbers men and women are about the same.

BUT when death rated are factored in, it turns out 2/3 (65%) of the deaths are men drivers.  So men are much worse then women in this consideration.
