  1. Omit Cleopatra, since she was of Greek ancestry (macedonian, result of Al the Great's conquest).  There have been other foreign rulers of Egypt that were counted as pharos

(those that came from Kush), but unlike them, she was not a 'real' pharo...not ruler and diety at the same time.

  2. Ramses-the guy from the Moses thingy

Ramses II-Somehow he's just famous (I'm better in Egyptian mythology actually striving to do my best here)

Tutankhamen-his tomb, his early age of ruling the kingdom

  3. Here's a few:

Narmer - 1st Dynasty - recorded as first Pharoah

Khufu (Cheops) - 4th Dynasty - built the Great Pyramid

Apepi (Apophis) - 15th Dynasty - last 'Hyksos' Pharoah

Ahmose I - 18th Dynasty - cleared Hyksos from Egypt

Hatshepsut - 18th Dynasty - first known female ruler

Akhenaten - 18th Dynasty - attempted to introduce new          religion

Tutankhamun - 18th Dynasty - royal burial found intact

Ramses II - 19th Dynasty - very long and productive reign

Cleopatra - Ptolomeic Dynasty - got involved in Roman politics.

Foreign rule gave Egypt a number of 'Pharoahs' who are famous, but not for being Pharoah, including Darius, Xerxes,  Alexander the Great and the Roman Emperors.
