  1. Hmmm...

    I'm not sure whether you can use the term "proof."

    The methods were:

    Observation,

    Analysis and

    Deduction.

    The Laws that they came up with have never been contradicted in observation. That does not necessarily mean that they are Empirically correct.

    It only takes one example to disprove!

    To date, nobody has come up with the "one exmple."

  2. You can't have looked terribly hard--the answers are on wiki, which is really the first place you should look.

    Galileo accurately described freefall and found that objects accelerate at a constant rate, g, at the earth's surface.

    Newton's universal law of gravitation describes the general interaction between two masses.  The attractive force is proportional to the masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

    The constant of proportionality (Newton's big G) was measured experimentally by Cavendish.  He actually measured the force of gravity between two weights in a lab.  We extrapolate his results to determine the mass of the earth and all the other bodies in the universe.

  3. Galileo Galilei and Sir Isaac Newton are two scientist involved in free fall motion.

    Acceleration due to gravity 'g' can be calculated bu newtons eqn of motion.

    s=ut+1/2(gt^2)

    where s=distance of free fall

              u=initial velocity =0

              t=time of free fall

              g= Acceleration due to gravity
