  2. the catalan language is indeed descended from vulgar latin introduced by roman sodiers. the catalan people are probably descended from iberians, what tribe or tribes, i dont know. i know someone who probably does, but he hardly ever gets in touch with me, and i can never get him on the phone.  sorry.
