This question is inspired by a once-great emcee that has an album coming out next week that I heard last night. So which 5 rappers have fallen off the most from the high point of their career?

12 ANSWERS

  1. KRS-One

    LL Cool J

    Rakim

    Big Daddy Kane

    Kool G Rap

  2. -G-Unit.....The quality of Beg For Mercy to TOS. mixed with the Game making a 20 minute diss track...

-Hittman....i know after 2001 i thought he was the next Dre was gonna make blow up...

  3. KRS One

    Mobb Deep

    AZ

    LL Cool J

    Camron

  4. I know this is a group, but Mobb Deep.

LL Cool J fell off considerably. That dumb song Paradise he made with Amerie was confirmation of his new low.

Snoop, I don't care what anyone says fell off. He's now making stupid songs about s*x.

Hold on, I'll think of more.

  5. Busta Rhymes

    ATCQ

    Mobb Deep

    Guru

    Redman

    First few that popped up

  6. Tribe Called Quest (1989-1993)

    Mobb Deep (1995 & 1996)

    KRS-One (1987-1997)

    Wu-Tang

Eminem (from 1997-2000 he was nasty, post marshal mathers lp it seemed like he just didn't give a f*ck)

  7. 50 Cent

    Snoop Dogg

    Xzibit

    Ice-T

    DMX

  8. 1. Redman- seems like he lost his hunger

    2. Busta - that mountain dew must have done something...I need 90's Busta

    3. Guru - new stuff is not as relevant

    4. Juvenile - back in the day everyone was sweatin Juve, what happen!?

    5. Q-Tip - hate to add him to the list but last effort was weak & that was years ago.  What I heard for the new album sounds dope so far but I'm not holding my breath

  9. Craig Mack to start (or does he count), then you have LL (but we all know that), then you have Master P & company, Bow wow (with a name like that "how did he get on" we should ask ourselves), Mase (he needs Jesus if you ask me), and KRS (Heard his latest freestyle and it was his worst)

  10. 1. KRS-1 (I'm gonna always be a fan, but d**n can he make a complete Lp and stop putting out bullsh t!!!)

    2. LL. Cool J~ Ever since he did something like a PhenomenonWorst song I ever heard

    3. Prodigy and Havoc Mobb deep~ They have yet to Recover from Jay-z and NaS Dissing them

    4. 50 Cent~ Got Rich But has Died Rhyming

  11. Kool G Rap

    Buckshot

    Masta Ace

    LL Cool J

    Consequence

  12. 1. Jay-Z's newest stuff (Kingdom Come, American Gangster) really doesn't do him justice. His old stuff is way better...

    2. Dizzee Rascal - 'Boy in the Corner' was an amazing album but since that he's got more and more 'pop' like and I really don't like recent releases such as 'Come dance with me'.

    3. 50 Cent - His first album was pretty good, he actually sounded like a rapper...since then he's gone waaaaaaaay downhill and all he releases is garbage.

    4. The game - I only have his first album, but since he left G-Unit there really has been nothing said about him in the media where I live. So I'm guessing his stuff really isn't all that hot now.

    5. Can't think of any more tbh ....
