Who are the top Distributors of Books in the UK?

Am considering setting up a small independent publishing firm and would like to know who is the best and most known out there for distribution services? Thanks

No idea (I always thought that the printer/publishers did their own distribution) .. I suggest you visit one of the smaller bookshops and ask the guy on the desk (he is likley to be the owner/manager) ..

PS - the book business is quite competitive - a lot of books are printed abroad these days .. and the likes of Amazon must be having a huge impact on the high street retailers ..
