  1. McCain and Palin...

money is not a determining factor

  2. Palin

  3. The troops are a mixture of americana. They are as different as we are when it comes to politics. Though historically overall republican due to pay increases, Im pretty sure they will vote as varied as we do

  4. Among soldiers serving overseas at the time of their donations, 134 gave a total of $60,642 to Obama while 26 gave a total of $10,665 to McCain.

holy cow all 134 gave to obama stop the presses.  its not like their are over 140,000 troops in Iraq alone is it

oh and so you know that "report" left out the fact that it included Guiliani, Romney, Hunter, Huckabee, Thompson and yes Clinton.

and republicans received more than democrats in total.  but thanks for the great proof of liberal bias.

    Obama, Barack $335,536 859

    McCain, John $280,513 558

    Paul, Ron $232,411 537

    Clinton, Hillary $167,050 376

    Republican National Cmte $135,902 219

    Huckabee, Mike $66,751 127

    Thompson, Fred $46,400 93

    Romney, Mitt $43,307 96

    Giuliani, Rudolph W $22,050 47

National Republican Senatorial Cmte $21,885 26

    DNC Services Corp $16,873 53

  5. the troops are supporting Obama....  they know that McCain called the G.I. bill too "generous"........

  6. More deployed troops give money to Obama

  7. Unless you ask all of them you can't really say, but it doesn't matter since most of them can't vote while they're over there.

  8. I don't really know who they are supporting; sticky subject.  The three I know who have been to Iraq/Afghanistan clam up about the what happened over there, and are very, very resentful of the war.

  9. Most (but not all) military families are historically conservative, and this election does not look like it is going to be any different...
