What does it take to be an environmentalist? Does talking about preserving the Environment really quallifies one to be an environmentalist. Can Anything created in Civilization be considered as green. Everything created in Civilization are artificial aren't they. Smelting, burning, cooking, volcanizing, volcanic eruption, and exhailling all releases pullutants in the air that increases global temperature don't they. Monitors, Cameras, all electronics pullute and even recycling releases pulutants in the air. Even electricity gives off heat and gass into the air. Equipment to harness and produce electricity pollutes as well for they are artificial. A cardboard box may be biodegratable but it too pullutes. Narcotic Drugs or Medicinal drugs, are pollutants. Orings, Tires, aluminum, lubricants synthetic or Chemical, and Plastic aesthetic on Hydrogen cars are pollutants. Wouldn't population zero be the best thing for the planet? It would also solve all problems in society.

  1. Global warming, global warming. Boo hoo hoo. There is no global warming. The earth goes through temperature changes on a regular basis. Haven't you heard of the "ice age"? Didn't the earth warm up after that. How about the mini ice age of a few centuries ago? The earth warmed up after that too. So what. I suggest you read Micheal Crichton's "State of Fear" A very excellent book. It's full of references refuting global warming.

Somebody is always bitching about something. When cars became popular everybody was saying the cities would smell better, no horse manure you know. It just goes to show ya it's always something. Besides God is going to bring to ruin those ruining the Earth.

  2. No real environmentalist eats meat and other animal products knowing how much damage animal farming causes to the environment.

    # Animal farming is responsible for 18 per cent of all global greenhouse gas emissions - far more than is generated by the transport sector.

    # On average, a dairy cow belches out 500 litres of methane a day. Removing meat and dairy products entirely from your diet could reduce individual carbon footprints from food by 50-60 per cent.

    # The liquid waste from dairy farms is hundreds of times more polluting than human sewage.

    # It takes a thousand litres of water to grow one kilo of wheat, 11,000 litres to grow feed for enough of a cow to make just one quarter-pound burger and between 2,000 and 4,000 litres for that cow to fill her udder with one litre of milk.

    # Animal farming uses 30 per cent of the earth’s entire land surface for grazing and for the vast amount of crops needed to feed them
