Who are the worst drivers, Bus/Coach or Lorry Drivers?

id go for the buses as they think they own the road...when we all pay road tax........but the worst ever has to be the taxi ....lol

Definitely Taxi drivers! Not all of them, but most of taxi drivers are just over-confident and drive recklessly.

I would say the worst road users are Van Drivers (apologees to a couple who are good), Cyclists (as a pedestrian I have been knocked over on pavements by several and called a s'''y b###h for walking on them) and 'foreign' Bus Drivers (at the moment there is a Russian Driver on the route I MUST use - as there is no alternative - and his driving is awful).

Bus and lorry drivers are professional drivers as are taxi drivers, in my opinion women are the worst drivers on the roads.

Travelling by bus mile per mile is 50 TIMES safer than in your car. Bus drivers are VERY good drivers and I WONT be told otherwise By someone who drives a let me guess a vauxhall corsa and passed there driving test 8 months ago!!!!!

Its got to be lorry drivers as they hog the middle lane desperately trying to overtake another lorry doing the same speed and then there are the ones that switch off the speed limiter.

having been both bus/lorry driver 42yrs, i say lorry drivers.       driving abus needs different techniques. i.e you have a live/loose/moveing load. a lorry has a dead load secured.a bus driver has his passengers to take into consideration  when breaking/manouvering. alorry driver has none of these to think of.

Most peoples experiences with lorry drivers tend to be on the motorways. 'Normal' car drivers have a complete lack of ability to read the road and anticipate what a truck driver is going to have to do in a given situation. All it takes is to watch the trucks, look into the drivers mirrors, if he looks at you, he's probably wanting to do something, work with him and you won't have a problem.

Well around our way it is the bus drivers, small country lanes they, though they can, do not slow down or pull over so it is a two inch miss of a scratch!!

Neither I am sure that there are some very good Lorry and Bus drivers as well as one or two bad ones. I have no doubt they get pretty fed up with the poor standard of some car drivers Lets not get too negative. There are good and bad drivers everywhere.

bus drivers are more inconsiderate, but wvm worst ever drivers, and not young drivers but old people are the worst, some old people come in for petrol where i work and some are so slow with their reactions its unreal, and dangerous if they need to react to a situation on road. and they also cant judge speed of other road users and turn out of junctions in front of cars who have to end up jumming on their brakes for them, i could go on but i wont. lol

Bus drivers are ar$eholes, Think they own the road, pull out without indicating etc.

I was trying to reverse into my driveway the other week and a bus came down the road and stopped about a foot of my back bumper blocking me and making it impossible to get on my driveway, He could see what I was doing and I think he did it just to be a prat.

I got out and asked him if he could move to let me finish and all he'd say was "You move I'm a bus I can't reverse" when I told him he could reverse because he wasn't carrying passengers (I learnt to drive a bus in the Army) he got snotty and said "Don't tell me my job, get back in your car and move it before I push it out the way with this".

If my wife hadn't have come out the house at that point I would have punched his lights out.
