Who (associated with grateful dead), made the "best" LCD?

I'm in a Drugs and Behavior class.. My teacher is an X-wall street business man that has tried nearly every drug on the planet.

He asked us all the above question,.. I can't find it using google, I'm guessing some people might know.

owsley stanley. the dead lived with him for a couple of years back in the late 60s. he basically supplied the whole west coast with lsd. read the book "living with the dead" by rock scully. he was a roadie for the dead for 30 some years. good book. it talks about how they dosed geraldo rivera with some acid. lots of funny stories.
