  1. The last major astronomer that I know of to advance that idea that the sun revolved around the EARTH would have been Tycho Brahe. His system was a mix of Ptolemy and Copernicus.  After Kepler used his data and worked out the three laws of planetary motion, that theory fell out of favor. Among the students I had in my earth science classes 30 years ago, that answer would have been chosen perhaps 30% of the time on multiple choice tests.  Mindless middle school students!!!  Now they are obsessing about imaginary planets.

  2. You need to clarify your question. What do you mean by "late science"? Nobody ever believed that the Sun rotated around the planets.

  3. It does not matter. Our life is same with new findings.

we still say Sun rise in the east

We dont say earths posoition changed so we see the sun!

We experience the sun rise in the east!

  4. The bible never actually said the sun went around the Earth, that was just popular belief at the time.

Many people read the Psalms in the bible where it does make a reference to the sun going around the Earth, however this is ridiculous to presume this is religious fact since Psalms is poetry, not fact.

I am pretty sure Solomon's lover did not have deer on her chest as Song of Solomon says either.
