Who believes in having a 6th sense?

Question

Do you believe in it? Who has it?

I think that everyone has a 6th sense but some find it easier to discover than others. I also believe that when someone learns they have a 6th sense and practices using it they are able to use their 6th sense more.

What are your views???

(which of the five senses are you using when you're hungry, or have a headache, or feel dizzy?)

But, if you're talking about a "non-traditional" sense, how do you know whether it is separable from the other senses (suppose we were talking about something like an ability to read minds, but this was really accomplished by a subconscious processing of visual, auditory and olfactory cues). This type of scenario would fit very well with your description of improvement by practicing - you are honing your ability to make inferences based on (traditional) sensory cues.

Yes. very much. there is 6th sense existing in everyone of us. just vouch! when you are doing or have done smoething, when everyone one is on one side of the judgement something deep inside you and you alone intrigues and tells the happenings fo the contrary.

that's nothing but 6th sense which keeps us warning of the situations and consequences and gets us mentally prepared for it.

There are people out there who have what are considered to be extraordinary abilities such as people who are psychic and so on. I also, like someone else said, believe we are evolving mentally as well as physically but I don't necessarily believe its 'Darwinism' but more that through sharing knowledge and experimentation, we learn more about ourselves. People can have quite powerful 'gifts' and often suffer because they may not be as noticeable at first but get stronger with age and also you don't understand what is going on as the gift can make its presence known quite acutely if, for example, your heart rate is very high. This obviously depends on what gift you have. I'm just talking through my own experience.

As far as ascertaining who has a gift, I find that sometimes you can just look at an individual and know there's something special about them but sometimes its just simply through getting to know them.

I believe the amount of people who have gifts is increasing through growing population, increased knowledge and through the gifts being passed down to that person's children. Hope that's been of some help

If you're talking about esp. Then yes, I believe the human brain has much more potential than what its currently using.

We only use 5% of our brain power right? So whats in the other 95%. In 500 years, everyone might be moving stuff with their mind.

Seriously, I believe in intuition but not in ESP or 6th sense etc.
