  1. I absolutley believe in recycling.

Even if someone doesn't agree with the whole "Go Green" thing; EVERYONE should recycle.

  2. I believe

  3. yea we all might believe, but the government don't they believe its a lot cheaper to dump trash in a certain area.

  4. To play devils advocate, some may assert the position that activities like recycling, buying fair trade coffee, and using E efficient lightbulbs allow the members of a capitalist society (that's us) to receive "warm fuzzies" which allow them to fall asleep at night while raping the world (both ecological and human) in 10,000 other ways.

Radical changes are needed, changes that will allow a deep psychophysiological connection to be developed between man and earth, a 'love' developed through understanding where your food comes from, and a realisation of interconnectivity with the beautiful ecological systems of the earth.

Basically what i am saying is that recycling can be viewed as a reactive action, when the root issues need to be addressed in a proactive way.  A radical paradigm shift in society will inherently incorporate the three R's, they will be the result of living acceptable (from an earth perspective), instead of a somewhat trivial act perpetuating the parallel of society to a boiling frog...

Do not be afraid of climate change for the resultant fear will further the dissociation of yourself from the amazing natural environment of which you are a valuable and connected part.  Solutions must be proactive, and based on the right reasons...  only then will they be authentically sustainable.

Some say, but doesn’t every little bit help ?

I say, Is recycling prolonging our inability to affect the necessary radical changes needed by our society to avoid reaching the tipping point of a potential ecological catastrophe?

  5. I do. I also believe in reducing and re-using.

  6. I do believe in recycling, but the thing is, not many people do. As a matter of fact, 95% of America doesn't. I've been doing all I can to reduce, reuse and recycle, but the next person won't really care. We have to change that mindset of not recycling, or else our entire world as we know it would have a drastic downfall. We'll be living in our own filth, and no one would know it.

  7. i do cause it help the environment and i can reduce things and start to reuse the stuffs it been use before. and the state could get money by just recycling, so it help us make new things to use. you could recycle plastics, papers, aluminum and glass! hope i help!

  8. I do, and I believe that everyone should.

  9. i do

  10. the real question is who doesn't believe in recycling?

  11. In todays enviroment if we keep taking and not giving back we won't have anything left for our children or grandchildren. We are the keepers of this planet not the destoyers. if everybody were to recycle landfills would be almost empty

  12. I do. It's not only environmentally the right thing, it's also a national security issue in that any item that can be recycled instead of purchased saves money and puts people to work in the U.S. in green tech. Also, new products from another country makes the U.S. dependent.
