What happened to the fine string of African-American heavyweights? Do they now prefer living on welfare to working for a living?

  1. I think that he definitly held his own pretty well for a while when he fought Lewis, and with all of his career i would definiately take him seriously.

  2. Heres an answer for you James....I boxed for fifteen years.

I opted to go to college, get a degree and get a six figure earnings a year, rather than get my head rattled loose.

It amazes me that people look at rap videos and shows like THE WIRE and think this is all there is to black people.

Well, here is the reality James. White people have middle America....their trailer parks..their criminals, drug addicts....their college graduates, and their millionares and politicians.

We have our cities, our disparaged, our ghetto, our criminals...drug addicts and criminals...college graduates, millionares and politicians.

In case you didnt notice Captain Profiler, Barack Obama doesnt have gold capped teeth.

So stop watching TV and start reading a book.

  3. woody why bother? the guy is a d**k who could be insulted by a p***s(a very small one at that)?

  4. I am caucasian and I am offended by this. Maybe it was a slip, but d**n!

  5. Thumbs up to Galactus177 and Kieran27.

First, Wladimir Klitschko is a serious champion in the division, whether you like him or not...... whether he looks impressive or not. He is getting the job done in the division, right now, which is something I can't say much about many others in the division.

Second, with other sports and its athletes making so much more money nowdays, I really can't blame AMERICAN athletes for going into safer sports like basketball, baseball and football.

Third, as an African-American, I find that last question insulting.

  6. That was a cheap racist shot James. Perhaps

African Americans don't want to get socked

in the head for a living anymore. Maybe they are

playing Basketball, Baseball, and Football instead!

What you said really made you look evil and

    racist James!

  7. In today's terms, well, (yuck but) he is. But da'h**l cares? Im pretty sure nogueira can beat him.

  8. Name one active heavyweight that is better?

  9. "Do they now prefer living on welfare to working for a living?"

^^^^JAMES- The above was such a disgustingly racist,

    and evil assumption to make.

    You made yourself look foolish!

  10. I do.

IF you're talking about history,  probably not.  He's too vulnerable to various types of attacks.

If you're talking about TODAY,  he can still clean up the division.

Putting your ignorant remark about African American heavyweights aside, there are a number of reasons that we see more White heavyweights.  Most of them are Not American, Black or White.  European fighters train differently today and are, therefore, more competitive than before.   There are also more of them entering the sport of boxing.

Klitschko is the best today.  But remember, he also suffered KO losses, one of them to one of the very same ''welfare'' recipiants you ignorantly refer to.  He certainly makes a good champion for the sport of boxing.  Its not likely we will hear him utter anything close to the ignorance you spew here.

  11. I wish Vitali would whup Vlad's robotic butt, however I'd pay $50 to see him get in the ring and smack you around instead.

  12. he has had 52 fights in total and lost just 3 so i think that is good and his brother has lost just two.

Wladimir Klitschko Klitschko is tall as well so that gives him an advantage

  13. I don't even know who he is. Fewer and fewer people are caring about boxing.

  14. Today he is the best in the business... all time, he probably would not crack the top 100 heavys of all time, and definitely not the top 50.

What is the value of your racially charged comment?

  15. He undoubtedly has the skill to be a world champion again especially with the current stste of heavyweight boxing, however I don't think he will be because I believe that by the time he was contender for a title Wladamir Klitschko will be undisputed champion I do not believe that they would fight each other

  16. i do
