  1. His film although interesting has many flaws in it. Did you know that the shot of the polar bear in the water trying to find some ice to get on was filmed in August and every year, that ice forms again as it is right now. I'm quit glad he did not become president or we would all be riding our bikes to work and only the elite would be able to have a car, like himself.

  2. *raises hand*

It seems like every-other AGW denier mentions Al Gore.  I don't care what Al Gore does or says.  He's not a climate scientist, he just made the scientific evidence accessible to the general public.

If you have to engage in ad hominem attacks on the messenger, it just shows you can't dispute the science.

  3. Does one have to be "infatuated" to appreciate sound argument?

  4. Many have.  I don't think these people are taken in by Gore.

"Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"

"National Review (the most prestigious conservative magazine) published a cover story calling on conservatives to shake off denial and get into the climate policy debate"

"Pat Robertson (very conservative Christian leader) 'It is getting hotter and the ice caps are melting and there is a build up of carbon dioxide in the air.  We really need to do something on fossil fuels.”

  5. Most people with common sense and a sound mind are concerned about certified swindlers like Al Gore, who prey on the weak minded.  Educated people saw through his scam from the start, but now that all the scientists agree he lied, maybe the less informed will figure it out too.

Fair minded people don't like when rich con artists bamboozle uninformed people.

You don't have to be conservative to be educated and fair minded.

  6. The Al Gore references show that they have nothing tangible to go on.  It's a cry of defeat.  Enjoy the chorus.

  7. Sure...as soon as they stop showing his film in classrooms.

  8. Nah... It's just too fun to give him a little bit of "what comes around goes around".

We're just sharing our love or more like hate of him because he wants us to lose all of our dwindling jobs.

  9. I do!

It's the old attack the messenger, because cause they can't attack the message.

  10. No, please let them continue.  It shows how completely ignorant they are of the actual science.

Every time I see yet another Al Gore insult from a doubter, I know that I'm reading the post of someone that doesn't read any scientific literature and is opposed to AGW purely based on political/ideological reasons.  That helps a lot in determining if the person is actually capable of learning (and thus worthy of an appropriate reply) or not.
