so what does this prove.. other than that the USA has a history of interpreting figures in the way that make them look better...

and that your own media contradicts itself.. look at USA today extended tally board via the links....

and that there are still substantial numbers of people from the USA willing to lable the rest of the world as 'petty whingy crybabies' for daring to question the intrpretation of the USA... how condescending...

the world does it one way.. the USA another... and it was/is an abysmal excerise in PR for the US... why does the US feel this need to differentiate themselves from everyone else.. is it arrogance.. or an absurd sense of self belief...

either way it seems the USA is willing to continue to thumb their noses at the rest of the world..t herefore your rep.. no real surprises there...

Stop talking about whining foreigners... A lot of Americans have done the whining because they can't accept that the Chinese actually beat them! It's still up to the people who look at the medal tally to interpret them. Personally I look to the country with the most golds, not the total medals. So even if arranged that way I still can interpret my own results that CHINA has topped the medal tally this year.
