Who believes the yankees can come back and win the wild card?

idk if it will really happen but you may never know thou. the rockies were way behind the WC last yeat around this time and still won it. how would you feel if they do come back and boston misses the playoffs?

  1. Boston might not even get the wild card with the Twins being in it so no!


  2. As an objective Yankee fan I would have to say no.  They are too hot and cool and right now there doesn't seem to be any true leadership on the team.  Steinbrenner is out of control and Cashman might just get up and walk away.  Too much disarray.  

    I don't even think that Boston is a shoe-in at this point.  There could be a changing of the guard this season.  No one can stay on top all of the time.  The Yankees will reload and come back next season.

  7. The Rockies won the 2007 NL wildcard on the basis of a 13-1 streak that took them to a playoff game, which they won.

    If the 2008 Yankees can put together a similar 13-1 streak, yeah, they'll have a chance.

  11. well that would suck. The Rockies had a team that believed in themselves. The Yankees don't have that. And it doesn't help with Hank Steinbrenner saying something stupid every other day. You have to encourage your team even when they are down and out not make them feel even worse.

    But anyways I would be surprise if the Red Sox did or didn't make the playoffs. They have so stiff competition in the Twins and White Sox.  I am a Red Sox fan so I hope the do make it.
