  2. No.  The Windsor family stopped this practise years ago.  They have investments and holdings of their own in the billions of dollars.

  3. Members of the royal family get an allowance from the Government called the Civil List. Most of their money, however, comes from property and other investments they own around the country. The allowance is only fair as they are expected to perform many public duties and attend functions.
