Who came face to face with a tornado?

Like saying your playing outside then came a tornado and your right in front of it

I did. In Northern California a couple years ago.

I saw it form and touch down across the street from my business. It wandered over a building, and 10 x 16 roofing panels started circling around at about 1,000 ft AGL. All the native Californians were plastered up against the glass windows, watching it with great excitement. And of course, somebody just had to say, "Where's the cow?"

The gal from Kansas was cowering under a big machine in the center of the building.

Although it totaled a couple of cars and damaged a lot of roofs, it ended up being classed as a F .9--- didn't quite make it into F1 territory. There were no injuries.

We thought it was really awesome and great fun. And that is all the fun I ever want to have with a tornado.

Unless, of course, I can get a job as a tornado chaser in an up-armored Humvee...

Tornados don't have faces, so I'd have to say nobody.

Nope never had that happen, I've seen a funnel cloud about a half a block from my house, but that's about as close as I've been. If anyone has had your scenario occur, dang that would suck lol.
