  1. castillo in the first fight.

  2. Castillo beat Floyd :) Zab and de la Hoya were closer

  3. delahoya son... killed it but im happy mayweather won

  4. floyd sucks so much... dey just needed a rising star, so they gave it to floyd mayweather.... but clearly, floyd lost the first fight to jose luis castillo even floyd worshippers know so too... plus, i really felt he lost to oscar de la hoya... he did not do enough to beat oscar... oscar was the more aggressive fighter and he had another win taken away from him... but floyd suck...

  5. I am pretty certain that it was De La Hoya.  Some folks believe that he should have won.

  6. mayweather lost against j.l.castillo...ledermans card was 115 to 111 win for castillo...george foreman & larry merchant also had castillo winning..final compubox numbers showed castillo winning by a mile...the corrupt judges gave mayweather a gift even the ref was in on it,when mayweather was get knocked down the corrupt ref was ruling them no knockdown...mayweather should have 2 losses..here is the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2sZVx05B...

  7. it was his first fight with jose luis castillo, castillo bullied mayweather to ropes and was landing good bodyshots and a few good headshots to, floyd wasnt used to such a strong fighter with power like castillo's (it was floyd's first fight at 135 lbs) not that it wasnt a close fight, but the judges decison was booed and many writers at ringside thought castillo won, mayweather won the rematch convincingly and hasnt been challenged since, oscar would have one if he didnt fade in the 2nd half of the fight

  8. Castillo beat him the first time they fought, he out landed Floyd and bullined him convincingly for most of the fight, However Castillo started very slowly and that affected him negatively in the score cards, Mayweather gave him a rematch and beat him convicingly the second time, People tend to believe that De La Hoya beat Mayweather but he didn't, Mayweather usually uses the first three or four rounds to figure his opponents out and adapt his style to their own, to some people it might seem as if he is losing but he is not, he just taking time out to study and time his opponent's punches he did it against De La Hoya, Hatton and most of his opponents before (with the exception Ndou for some reason Mayweather fought flat footed against him)

  9. Most unbiased observers agree that Castillo beat Mayweather in their first fight.

  10. No one but Castillo boxer.

  11. Anyone here who answers DLH has never seen the first fight with Castillo. Castillo out punched, out landed and had the ring generalship of a championship. If you've never seen the fight watch it. Castillo landed some of the cleanest hardest punches Floyd has ever received.  Final Compustat:

    Castillo           Total Punches                     Floyd

                              Landed

    203                                                             157

                               Thrown

    506                                                              448

                       Connect Percentage

    40%                                                               35%

                                 Power Punches

    173                          Landed                                                                   66

    377                         Thrown                         151

      46%                        Connect %                    44%

Plus Castillo ruled the ring that night. DLH numbers don't even stack up.

    Castillo easily!
