Who came up with the capitalist Theory?

I was just wondering if anybody could help me with that question and thank you to those who do answer it.

Capitalism is not a system, but rather a lack of one.  Marx gave it the name, before that is was just different schools of thought on Capitalist economics.

Think about it: there are limits to how much of ANYTHING you can have, and people from early on sought to increase their resources to increase their quality of life.

i think capitalism is natural human nature, think about it, it may be cruel but it is true freedom.

Just people observing how humans behave. Same way Newton came up with the theory of gravity.
