What would be a good price for it per pole.

I have just started to cut it down - piece by piece. I am going to try and control it - any ideas on this also

  1. Try contacting someone at a local zoo.

  2. Put an ad in Craig's list in your area.

Contact your local privately owned nursery---lots of people make bean poles from bamboo.

Bamboo is a few dollers per pole, depending on size.

Bamboo is very invasive.  Too bad because it is so pretty. You will have to kill everything out and then plant select bamboo in a large tub and set the tub into the ground so it can't send suckers out all over the place and take over.

  3. I think to Home Depot,  Home Hardware or small stores who sell decorations  for  homes or someone who makes furniture from it.

  4. Local bait and tackle shops may buy it.

Also, why not rig them up with 2 brackets and make a cane pole. Thats what they are going to do and you could make money that way.

Believe it or not eBAY! Yes eBay!

  5. how about EBAY? you will only control it by chopping some of the clumps up and removing bamboo is a grass and should be treated as such

  6. depending on how thick it is, id like some. if it is completely covered in leaves, never mind. email me some info at gph17@yahoo.com
