They have been transfering my case file from case manager to case manager and has done nothing. Each time I speak to case manager, They ask me questions that pertain to information given to them from the very start. Need help

  1. You have the right to fire them and find a new lawyer.  If you believe their conduct was serious enough, you can file a complaint with the state bar.

  2. Just get a different lawyer

  3. The state office that licenses attorney.

  4.      I assume your case is contingency fee based. They earn nothing unless your case produces a settlement or verdict.

Obtaining a verdict requires investing substantial expenditures of effort and money.

Obtaining settlement requires investing substantial amount of waiting.

When your contingency case is not providing immediate spendable attorney revenue, you begin understanding that progress on your matter is also contingent on your attorney having nothing better (more profitable) to do at the moment.

And if you decide to change attorneys, you will find yourself severely restricted by the fact your present attorney will claim and be allowed a large percentage of any settlement or verdict.

This will severely restrict your ability to find a replacement attorney.

My recommendation is be patient. You may be disappointed in the amount of time passing. But no attorney can rush the other side to settle. Make certain your attorney has set the matter to be tried. This establishes a deadline for trial preparation and no attorneys want to invest in the trial preparation if the matter can be settled.

           Good Luck.
