Who can I talk to about Homeschooling besides the internet or a home school group because theres not one nerby

Where are you located? (what state)  I would be very surprised if there wasn't a homeschool group nearby - maybe you don't KNOW about it, but it exists. Ask the local librarians, check this site:

http://homeschoolclassifieds.com/    and keep your eyes open - I bet there are more homeschoolers around you than you think.

Find an online virtual school. They will be able to talk to you about homeschooling. Try http://www.k12.com and run a search for your state.

Unless you actually know someone who is currently or recently homeschooling, there's not much option other than on the internet or a homeschool support group.  And you would probably find the support group on the internet!

You could try talking to the local school authorities about it, but since they don't do it, don't expect anything favorable or even accurate.
