Who can answer my riddle?

Okay here it goes. There is a man that lives in the 10th floor of a apartment building. Each day when he goes to work he takes the elavator from the tenth floor down to the first floor. But when he comes back from work he takes the elavator to the seventh floor and then takes the stairs all the way up to his appartment. Why would he do that?

He is a midget and can only reach as high as the 7th floor button.

Why would he do that?

And the reason is... because on rainy days, he uses his umbrella to press the 10th floor button!  :-)
