  1. 1. Fate. or Destiny. Because of the miscommunication.

    2. Themselves - they had no desire to live after finding out the other person's dead.

Note: if it weren't for their deaths, their families wouldn't have reconciled.

  2. their parents.

  3. It's Romeo's fault.  When he declares "then I defy you stars," he is acknowledging that a higher power(such as fate) is against his decision, but he does it anyway.  As with classic Greek tragedy, this prideful decision is ultimately his downfall.

  4. Romeo and Juliet who is to blame?

Throughout time, there have been many tragedies cause by romance. For example, the play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, is known for its romantic tragedy between two star-crossed lovers. With all the deaths, who is truly to blame for Romeo and Juliet's deaths? Friar Laurence is most to blame for many obvious, yet overlooked reasons. More…

  5. Shakespeare. He wrote it.

  6. The feud between their parents was to blame.

However almost every character in the play does something or says something that causes their suicides in the end. It's 'fate' which is explained the prologue with the term "star-crossed lovers". Star crossed means they are not meant to be together.

However I'm not explaining any further because this is homework and you can do it yourself.

Romeo and Juliet is a beautiful and deep story. When read properly you'll notice that Shakespeare wasn't just writing a story about love but he was writing a story about two teenagers feeling that they loved each other enough to kill themselves and were infatuated with each other and married so they could have s*x. It's a story about revenge and violence and the only person that really apposes this is killed and offers "a plague on both (their) houses"

You'll get much more out of this play if you read it and do the work yourself rather than asking a bunch of strangers but I have given you a very good starting point.

  7. Its both of them's fault. Ok he saw Juliet dead. But hello? Miracles Happen! He could have waited.

  8. hmmm no one was to blame!!!

it was their love for eachother took power of their heart and mind and did what they did to be eachother

    well tried lol

    u know the ending

  9. mostly themselves.  Two stupid kids, who "fell in love" the first time they saw each other, then killed themselves over someone they met a handful of times.  Stupid.

  10. Their parents, and their family. Because they hated each other, and thats the only reason why they couldn't be together. which lead them to kill themselves

  11. There are many alternatives to this question

you could blame Romeo for his inability to think things through [how rash he is] and if he hadn't killed Tybalt he wouldn't have been exiled

Nurse could be blamed for her help in the plot. If she hadn't met with Romeo to arrange Juliet's marriage would Juliet have married him in the frist place

Juliet could be blamed for her immaturity but thats a hard one to do

The Parents could be blamed for their feud, which made it impossible for romeo and juliet to be together

Friar Lawrence, is a good person to blame, as there is lots to talk about. He can be blamed because he was the person who made the poison for Juliet, he married them without parental consent. He also was too much of a coward to wait for romeo, to tell him that Juliet wasn't really dead.

The other option is Fate, there are loads of great quotes for this question, e.g. Two star crossed lovers. You can just say it was the way it was meant to be.

If your doing this for an essay i'd personally pick either the Nurse or Friar Lawrence

Read through it and it should all make sence

But we could always blame Shakespeare for writing the d**n thing :)

    Hope that helped
