Colleague : Sorry I’m late. I got stuck in an elevator for 4 hrs. Because of a power failure.

Mr. Bean : That’s alright, me too… I got stuck on the escalator for 3Hrs.

Two managers were talking over lunch.  One of them says, "Gee, my son is dumb."  The other says, "He can't be as dumb as my son, he really takes the cake!"

Well, they went back to the office, and one of them says, "I've got an idea.  Watch this."  And he calls his son to the office. (He worked in the mail room.)  He pulls a $20 bill from his wallet, and says, "See this 20 dollar bill?  I want you to take it and buy a brand new car - a Lincoln MKS with it."  The son takes it, and obediently says, "Yes Dad", and leaves the room.

The two managers chuckle about this, but the other manager says, "I can top that."  He calls his son to the office. (He also worked in the mail room.)  He says, "You know my favorite restaurant, on the corner of Maple and 3rd?"  The son says, "Yes, Dad."  The manager continues, "I want you to go there, and see if I'm there."  The son says, "Yes Dad", and leaves.  Again the two managers have a chuckle over this one.

Now the two sons meet on the very slow elevator. While waiting, one of them says, "Gee, my Dad is dumb."  The other says, "He can't be half as bad as my Dad - he really takes the cake."  The first says, "Well, my Dad just gave me this $20 bill - to buy him a car, and he didn't even tell me what color he wanted."  The other says, "Well, my Dad just told me to go to his favorite restaurant, to see if he's there, and he had a telephone, right on his desk - he could have called!"
