  1. Nobody owns Antarctica.  By international treaty it is not owned by any person or nation.  And as there is no permanent human population it is not a nation itself either.

  3. No one can buy any part of Antarctica, by worldwide agreement of other nations.  Antarctica is to remain 'unowned' by anyone, with those nations operating science stations only 'using the land'.
