Russian here sooo I believe I can! Here is a list of a bunch of Russian restaurants so you can choose one depending on what you're looking for; a night time celebration, brunch etc.

The list in previous answer is outdated - some of the restaurants are gone already, but in any case the question was about an advice regarding one good restaurant, right?

Here it is (based on the case):

1) Good Russian restaurant (food, music) "suitable for non-Russians" - it's how they set themselves:

  Russian Renaissance

2) Good Russian restaurant mostly for Russians - for Birthday party or similar (hard just to get a table for two) -

but then you get full impression of real Russian style -

music - Russian group, people dance, etc.:

South San Francisco - "Russia House" - looks beautiful, in red when you use 101 at night leaving San Francisco -

it's right above the freeway
