  1. definitely check grif's feed store, the last time i looked through their advertisements i'm pretty sure i saw a few for transportation. if not, my barn manager and a couple other people i know have trailers, if you want to email me and i can see if i can work something out for you!

  2. Call some local barns and see if anyone can give you a lift. Someone might know of a public horse transport person as well.

  3. Ask a friend, you can rent trainers.. people do it for a living but its usually state to state when you move. Do you really wasn't someone over yahoo answers to move your horses. Just look some up online.

  4. Your a member of Yahoo Answers so you also have access to some of the BEST transportation sights around!

    Here are the links!

Good luck - you'll have to request membership - and you'll easily find them after acceptance under your "GROUPS" on the yahoo home page whenever you sign in to Yahoo!

  5. Ask a trainer!

  6. This is a very, very local question; maybe checking with some local sources would help you more than this forum. Go talk to folks at your local feed store, tack shop; call any local boarding facility or training facility; check Craig's list for your area, I found a bunch of offers for trailering there for my tiny area. This is such a small haul you're seeking it should be pretty simple to hook up with someone if you check the right places. Us horse folks try to help each other out! :) Good luck.

  7. I would go to Grif's or call them and see if people advertise in the Feed Store.  Or call Tackeria in Wellington or a place up there.  Horse and Pony newspaper. Or one of the other local tack shops...I know there is one on University Drive between Griffin and Stirling....it's a womans name.

If your going from barn to barn maybe someone at the barn would make the trip for you.

I'm sure you should be able to find something if you look...Davie and Plantation Acres is horse country.

  8. Have you tried an add in your local paper or Nickel Nik? Also you might look into your county extension office (4H) to see if anyone would be willing to do that for a 4H community service. You also might look into renting a horse trailer from your local moving company, they sometimes have horse trailers for rent.
