  1. I don't think there is any possibility of you getting a work permit for Ireland.

Ireland only issues these to very highly qualified people - doctors, engineers, etc.

  2. Here is the real deal.  You cannot get a work permit unless you get hired by a company in Ireland before you go to Ireland.  Then that company has to apply for the work visa for you.  When you come to Ireland you will show customs your work visa.  Now if you choose to not work for the company that hired you it does not matter  you have a legit work permit for two years and you can find a job in Ireland.  Or you can go to Ireland under a student visa where you are allowed to work 20 hours a week.

You cannot or are not suppose to be caught looking for a job in Ireland without an issued work visa.

You can apply to some of those places that look for jobs and send you a list like Monster does have a ireland hookup and Jobs.ie

  3. It will be very difficult for you to get a work permit. companies can only employ you if they can show that you are doing a job they cannot fill locally. If you have software developer skills you have a chance that you can find a company to sponsor you, because these jobs are very difficult to fill. What is your job?

  4. If you want to apply for a work visa for Ireland, you need to apply through the Republic of Ireland embassy or the U.K. embassy, depending on which Ireland you want to work in.

  5. You don,t need one tell all your freinds
