I have a box turtle and he is about 12-15 years old and we want to find a good home for him. We dont want to give him to just anybody. We would like to find a zoo or a special turtle rescue or somewhere where he is going to be taken care of. I live in New Hampshire and i would like to find something in Northen New England so any suguestions would be great. Thanks!!!

  1. A best friend,

    a local aquarium,

    call a local zoo,

or ask a few local pet stores.

  2. dont put it in a lake or a river like the first guy says (why is it always the morons get in first) it will probably die

reptile rescue centres reptile sanctuaries reptile parks and private owners with lots of reps are about in some numbers altho u may still need to travel a bit to find one but u will if i really care for your pet

  3. u should give it to someone who loves turtles but u know that they will take care of him now if u put him in a zoo he probably wont like it there cause there r other animals there but if u set him free he will be happy

  4. Why don't you just give him to a person that will care for him?

You can make it kind of like a adoption thing- post ads and have a little application for people who want him. If the application is good then let them have him.

  5. Try this site for the New England Amphibian and reptile rescue.

    http://www.reptilerescue.net/

  6. they won't want it unless it's some rare species, try sticking it in a lake or river :D
